one more week to my full marathon! dont think im fully prepared (not especially with a hurting knee now) but just need to get it off my bucket list!
Way Of The Dragon: From a distance - 20 paddlers move in perfect rhythm to a muted drum beat, gracefully skimming the water's surface. Up close - determined grunts and strained sinews with oars in grip, dig vigorously into the water. The majestic head of the dragon fronts this contraption but the real heart lies just behind it, at the apex of the bow. Like a conductor of an orchestra, the drummer leads his crew with the calculated beat of his drum. Such is the realm of dragon boating.

Good Evening! Giant online is now offering free delivery with orders over $59 (to match with NTUC online), whereas Redmart still requires $3.99 for order above $40 (free delivery for Liveup members only).

Lucky the rain has stopped, time to rush home.

    Hello everyone,

    Got miss me or not...

Aaaaannnyyyway I need help on this... Braces.... Im currently still NSF so... im getting my wisdom tooth done. i was thinking of braces right after my last wisdom tooth surgery. But i went to 3 clinics, compass one de very expensive.. About 4.4k + another Xray fee and Consultation. So that's out of the question.

So i narrowed down to Khoo Teck Puat and also a Clinic at Rivervale Mall Victoria Dental.

    KTPH Pros
    - Specialist (Higher Success Rate or in other words.... lesser **** up)
    - Direct Bus

    KTPH Cons
    - It's not the cheapest @ 4K
    - It's not Exactly Closest
    - Operates only Weekday until 5.30pm

    ----

    Rivervale Mall Dental Clinic Pros
    - Cheapest Option at 3.8k for NSF
    - Super Close to me

    Rivervale Mall Dental Clinic Cons
    - Was asking questions about the braces and i realised the doctor decided to just push me to the Receptionist after conversing with me...
Hence i dun think they have much patience with me. LOL. Anyway before that i actually went down to check it out. They were pushing me to make an appointment with them for a consultation, so if i do, suka suka jiu will get charged for $22. Soooooo.... i instinctively say, ehhh NAY~ LOL
So somewhat i got some Customer Service (?)Integrity(?) issue with them now.
    - GP Dentist (not a specialist, Chances of **** up we never know. LOL)

GF say i should got with KTPH since i got direct bus and it's a specialist anyway. and i should have time after ORD... soo why not.

    So thoughts?

In NS go for NS dentist lo or I think polyclinic also can, they'll refer you to gov hospital.
    FOC.
My time always like that one leh.
My NS dentist very nice just direct refer to specialist.
Then Gov pay for everything... Other than the xrays I pay 10 dollars each iirc.

my 2 cents..unless u really need it that much else i dont think its worth the money and effort..dont forget u will have to keep wearing the retainer, and all the pain and time and effort on the follow-up and surgery...money and time probably better spent elsewhere? i have friends who went for a 2nd braces cause she was lazy to keep using the retainer..its just ur natural teeth formation so cant correct it much
