Should you tell everything to your therapist

I've been going to a therapist for my anxiety problems. I don't feel comfortable talking with him. I wanted to change therapist but he is the only closest to my place. What should I do?

Normally the consultant are always very friendly and somebody you can trust and tell everything to him or her.
If for some reason you are not comfortable with him or her then go and see another one. Be it, it is nearer or farther.
Nothing more is more important than having your condition under control and living a normal life again.

I agree on this one. I have been looking for an online therapist and change my current one. I recently found this site and they have outstanding reviews: https://www.betterhelp.com/start/

And why do you have to tell hime anything? He understands that you're only human and you have your own needs and preferences.

If you tell your doctor about all of the things that bother you, they can just hospitalize you. That's why should take care of yourself and be your own doctor.

If you feel uncomfortable talking to your doctor, then probably it's better to consider seeing another specialist. I see nothing wrong in sharing everything with your doctor, it's his job after all

A doctor is a doctor, if you visit him then something worries you. If so, then I see no reason to hide something from your therapist.

Never hide anything from your therapist. If you will hide something then your problem would not be diagnosed properly. Changing therapist is also not a good option as it will consume a lot time which is not good for you at all. Moreover, stay calm and tell every thing to your doctor.

I think you can trust and tell your therapist about everything that bothers you, because it's his or her job to help people and not disclose the patient's confidential information, so no need to worry.

Therapists are professional. It's their job to help the client by listening to them. Their livelihood depends upon the confidentiality between the clients and them. So, tell the therapists everything thatt is on your mind.

If you have the serious issues related to the physical health then you need to tell openly each and everything to your therapist. It will help you to sort out the issue quickly and adequately. I usually tell every thing clealy to my doctors. Am I right guys?

Therapists are there to help us. We need to be utterly open with them and tell them everything in your mind. The therapists provide a very good environment . You don't need to worry about anything. They will not reveal anything to anyone.

Therapists are professionals for a reason. They are here to help you. They can only help you when you tell them whats going on in therir mind. I believe they also have a confidentiallity clause in their agreement. Don't waste your time in this topic and tell everything to the therapists.

Therapists provide a judgement free zone. You can share anything with them. It is their job to give advise by listening to your views. You should tell everytthing to your therapist that is bothering you. They will not tell to anyone.
