I cut off the 24pins connector and manually transfer than to a 20pins connector and a 4pins connector I bought from Chamoxa.

for the ATX 20/24 pins, i was thinking of using masking tape to tape up the position of the wires leading to the connector, should be easier plug back afterwards

use camera to remember the positions of the wires ..

Same colored wires can jump around.

Except : when some psu come with thinner "orange+brown" cable then cannot swap around with other orange.

Except : when u find 2 orange wires, 1thin, 1thick. Then better put back the same spot.
