I have been using this for nearly 2 years until recently where Chill Control have been warning me on liquid temperatures which go as high as 65degs especially when gaming and my pc would auto shutdown sometimes. Idle is now 45degrees when I remember it used to be around 35degrees.

My i7 is dynamically OCed to about 4.2ghz and no settings have been changed which could have led to the jump in temps.

Fan speed is always kept at a constant 1800rpm and pump speed averaging 2900rpm.

Is it common for the coolant itself running out or leaking? As all the other mechanical parts seem to be working fine. Any other way I can troubleshoot and is RMA possible?

hi, maybe u can try reapplying the thermal paste, if not sent to rma.

unlikely the cpu thermal interface has a problem since its the coolant registering a heat problem which means the cpu -> liquid heat flow is fine.

likely the culprit is a dusty radiator (running for 2 yrs) instead trapping heat and not allowing the coolant to cool off. suggest u check the radiator for dust instead and blow out the dust in ur pc with the datavac.

Thanks, I last disassembled and cleaned my PC out about a year ago and I have double filters for the intakes. I remember opening the radiator then and they were fine. Will open it up soon and check the radiators again.

It would be good to get some input from corbell themselves.

When it is running, go nearer and hear for any bubble effect.
Is there alot of bubbles inside?
Like someone mentioned, check your radiator fins and fans for dust blocking.

Even @ 65degrees, it shouldn't shut down.
That is a very comfortable temperature still.
Use other s/w to monitor the temps. (HWmonitor, everest etc)
An incorrect reading might have forced shut it too.

Lastly, touch test.
When on intensive load/3D gaming, feel the block with your fingers, check the mobo PWN heatsinks too.
Check if any one is super hot.
During that time, check CPU temps too.

These should more or less help you zero down to 1-2 causes.
Should get a better idea from there.

On more thing,
Antec warranty is no more under us.
You will have to give Convergent a ring should you need warranty service.
