The Q9xxx i think was performing better den the P2X4 already.

    I think la.

Den again, sad to see these leaked benchmark, so sad.
Guess gotta wait for the official benchmarks.
Intel took the performance lead sometime back already. However it also cost more.

This time however, for the same price as AMD (especially 2500K) you can get better performance with Intel.

Why the downgrade? The 2500K is Intel's first price performance buster to break AMD's stranglehold on price:performance ratio.

Yea. I dont think optimization is that bad. But I have a feeling pref will be a little higher then what we expect. 990 boards are damm rushed somehow.

How come "bulldozer-zambezi" performs slower than 1090T on super budget Gigabyte motherboard?

Even slower than Opteron Magny-cours 8 Core, 6136, though it has slower clock.

pardon me, me is intel noob.

what do u mean by "990 boards are damm rushed somehow"? mean manufacturers rushed to released mobo w/ shaky BIOS?

Boards are imo. Mostly the same. 1155 boards are quite great. The Biostar was among the better ones.
Its a fact lar. My Giga 990XA and 990FXA all have problems going into the bios.
The Crosshair V wouldnt oc with the initial bios.
Only the M5A99X was perfect. But still .. I have a feeling some optimization needs to be done.

Still does not make sense that performance is lower than 1090T at stock. Can you try disabling CnQ?

it's understandable for initial bios to be "kinda" flaky, for me, it doesn't really bother me much coz what concern me more is how fast d manufacturers release BIOS update to patch d bug(s).

gotta agree that asus did an amazing job M5A99X EVO initial BIOS. that board rocks, but not d price.

@ sir louis, may i know what board is that?
