[Mini Review] Jonsbo V3+ ITX Case

    jonsbo乔思伯

Measuring 200 mm (W) x 240 mm (H) x 210 mm (D), the Jonsbo V3+ is made with 1.5mm brushed anodized aluminum. It supports ITX boards, ATX PSU, 2 storage drives and a dual slot GPU (up to 19cm long).

The unit is protected by foam and comes with a simple instruction sheet.

We suggest using the plastic cover (or any other smooth surface) to as a base when installing the system to prevent scratching on the brushed finish.

Rear of the unit. Pretty compact unit.

Perforated side panel to allow fresh air intake for components. Remove 4 screws here to access the insides of the case.

Bottom of the unit also allows air intake to HDD/SSD and other components.
Mount up to 2*2.5" or 1*2.5" + 1*3.5" drives here. Remove 6 screws to gain access to this plate.

Superspeed USB 3.0/2.0, HD audio supported on this chassis.

First steps: get motherboard in and prepare SATA cables to route under GPU.

SSD and HDD in. Face sata connectors inwards.

Prepare a GPU under 190mm in length. Palit and Leadtek GTX650Ti models seem to fit well among the locally available models. (Any has better cards to recommend?)

GPU into the case. PSU to go in last.

We're using the FSP300-50HMN for this unit. Fan facing inwards to draw hot air our from CPU. With some cable management, you should get plenty of room for decent airflow. We suggest non sleeved wires on the PSUs as there's less bulk to deal with.
(FSP Hexa 300, 400, 500 are good choices)

During gaming, CPU (2500K, 95w) doesn't exceed 60'C and GPU (Palit GTX 650Ti 2GB) stays under 55'C. Very reasonable temps for a tiny gaming rig.

Recommended rig: (Configured at PC Themes,1st March 2013)

    Jonsbo V3+ with FSP 300w $109
    Intel i3 3210 (3.2ghz) + Asrock B75-ITX $266
    8GB Gskill DDR3-1333 $59
    Leadtek GTX 650Ti 1GB OC $185
    1TB Toshiba HDD $79

    Total: 698
    Add SSD if required.

If you'd like something even smaller with onboard GPU, take a look at our review of the Jonsbo V2.

thanks for the advice! it'll definitely be neater to route the cables under the motherboard.
