Yah lah, but which model? must see if the case can handle the heat output or not. 84w you are looking at maybe C2D or i3. 150w can hold pretty much anything but both setups must have no vga card of course. All on board.

anything new you should know better than me as you went to Computex ma.........

just someone asked me he wanted to use low power 150W sfx psu or 84W pico psu for his setup.

Can confirm what are things he can put inside? No using any gfx cards

I would like to share some info on the compatibility between H55 ITX boards and cpu coolers, specifically the ones that do not block the PCI-E slot. This is what I have managed to find out and I hope it will be useful for everyone.

    Scythe Shuriken passes.

Thermalright AXP140 passes, but the backplate will not fit, the user over at HardForm used some washers as shown in the photo.

There are more photos and you can read more about it here:

Prolimatech Samuel 17 passes. I don't read Chinese but in the review at Expreview (现代版小牧童,Prolimatech Samuel 17散热器全球首测 - 超能网), I used the Google translator and it says the PCI-E slot is free.

Ah, that's makes the whole picture clearer. .

I would recommend him to get a SFX PSU from SevenTeam in SLS that is 250w. Then can hold pretty much anything he wants. If not, he can choose the 450w SFX 80Plus Bronze from Silverstone. That one can even put VGA card if he wants to .

As for 84pico, I find it hard to justify using such a big casing and using a 84w only PSU. Such a waste.

Don't know what project he's doing? He got too many projects. No ATOM setup.

But Dr., still no specific answer from you leh......... How to recommend him? He told me he went to a shop in SLS to ask also no use. The sales guy told him to upgrade this & that until he just walked out.

Anyways, can Ah Lian PC-Q08 fit 5870 & 5970 graphics card?

Hmmm, sorry for the vague answer but I can't seem to get the specific kind of setup he wants to build in the first place.

    Okies, here's some guidelines.

If he is using SFX PSU in PC-Q07, get the one from Silverstone 450w 80Plus. So he can fit up to i7 on Zotach H55 ITX and as many HDD as he wants in the casing.

If he is using 84watt Pico PSU in PC-Q07, then the CPU he can use is ranging from E6500 to E8400 with one single hdd. If he wants to use LGA1156 board, the limit is i3-530

As for PC-Q08, the limit is up to ATi 5870. Power wise should not be an issue if you use a full ATX PSU. If he got further questions, ask him to PM me or call me direct.

Well, my Big Shuriken is in your hands right now.

Feel free to use it for tests and pics.

unfortunately, I forgot to pass the other socket mounts hmm.... will only work well for pictures to prove that it fits then.

Hi may i know are you using intel or amd in your pix? I am using the same case with a low profile intel stock hsf. The noise level is horrible.
