Shouldn't disconnect the antenna at any time when the wireless is in operation. By doing so in prolonged time ~1hr will damage the WiFi amplifier.

Btw, I'm looking forward to this router performance but 40mW is way to low for my home. Right now 320mW + 5dB ANT is barely enough.

Even some ultra expensive unified gateway will not do 100mbps. Btw, it is PPTP not L2TP.

Can you please confirm the specs from the router? Do you have telnet access to it?

If not please post here "System log" from GUI.

    ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/wirel...6U_3002_60.zip (last version)

    cat /proc/meminfo
    cat /proc/cpuinfo
    uname -a

    Its enough

    Thanks

Thanks for the info. Quite interesting in fact but im just wondering what is the USB Transfer rate from a external USB HDD, i don't think it will be fast enough compared to RT-N16. Can you test it please? FTP or Samba should be OK.

    Thanks in advance.

Hardware is not bad leh. Waiting for pricing. If it's higher than the current 56, then it may not be that worth it.
