    Motherboard or CPU failure?

Today I finished putting the final touches on my PC. After 2 weeks, I was looking forward to start using my PC again. However, good things are often elusive... The following are the observations upon turning on the power and pressing the power button.

    1. PSU lights up.
    2. Motherboard power/reset switch lights up. Using a P6T with onboard power/reset switches.
    3. Nothing else happens. No fan spinning, no hdd spinning..

Umm.. Help? Suspect its the motherboard/cpu..

it leaked from the radiator there.. not in the casing

So all the capacitors are fine, I presume?

What have you tried to do anyway?

    EDIT: happy cny

Caps should be fine. I've reseated the rams, gfx, pci. Disconnected all power cables unless absolutely necessary. That's about all. No ideas already

If you have another working desktop, use its parts to isolate the hardware problem. It is very likely that one of the parts is faulty. It might be as you've said, mobo/cpu failure.

try 1pc ram + onboard gfx to boot.
Disconnect everything else even HDD, if it boots it will prompt for HDD.
    Fix hdd and reboot.
