    ABIT post code 04 annoying!!!

    what the hell is wrong with Abit!

    using AN8.. whenever i do cleaning up of my pc.. and reassemble everything back.. i always get post code 04!

    it just wont boot!

    i dunno how i solve it everytime.. but this time is just too long... reset bios.. take out battery... still same same same T.T

    anyone help?

    0.4 right... happens when ur rams are not slotted in properly due to over warping off the board due to cpu hsf. what i did was loosen the hsf bracket a little only making the pressure less yet have a good contact.

    well this worked at least for the last 5 av8 and an8 i did~

    yup found out is was the damn memory problem.. ! basket.. couldn't use my rig for a few hrs!

    is cool. was looking high and low the this annoying error online too.. found out the AN8 series had this issue...

    haha not only an8 ah...quite a few abit boards have this issue.. it seems like their pcbs are not weaker compared to 2004 period~

    other that this issue... the An8 board is quite good... stable...
